Stage 3: The Love Hearts Endurance Ride

Outdoor Rides - can be done on or off road.


BCG non led Club Rides - We’ll be setting up a variety of ‘Club Rides’ on Meetup that you can sign up for individually or as groups of friends.

There’ll be a variety of start start times and a range of our favourite routes from 25 to 100 miles to choose from.

Other Rides:

Find a good route on your own or with your friends and just ride!

  • Easy - 25 miles

  • Medium - 50 miles

  • Hard - 75 miles

Planning Tips - This is the endurance stage. Pick roads you know and enjoy. Include an open take away cafe stop if you like. If it helps you picture a route try passing one church every 10 miles.

Safety Notes - Please follow all government COVID guidelines and respect other road users by riding responsibly and in line with the law and highway code at all times.

Time of day: Ride solo any time

Route: Watopia - Big Foot Hills There are 5 smaller hills but we will regroup at the top of each for everyone to ride together to the foot of the next one

Distance: up to 40.8 miles and up to 2,319ft of climbing

  • Easy - Ride at least 10 miles along the route

  • Medium - Ride at least 20 miles along the route

  • Hard - Ride the full route

Official Event: Stage 3 - Pienza - Endurance

Other Riding: If you cant attend the official event then ride solo Real Road any time

Route: Pienza in beautiful Tuscany countryside

Distance: 5.1 miles and 770ft of climbing per lap

  • Easy - Stop after 2 laps (To make the hill feel less steep in the gradient setting move the slider to the right - this ride is more about endurance)

  • Medium - Stop after 4 laps (To make the hill feel less steep in the gradient setting move the slider to the right - this ride is more about endurance)

  • Hard - Stop after 6 laps - or just keep going! (To make the hill feel less steep in the gradient setting move the slider to the right - this ride is more about endurance)

Time of day: Whenever you like

Video: Varies by Easy/Medium/Hard

  • Easy - The Way Out - 59 minutes

  • Medium - To Get To The Other Side - 1 hour 28 minutes

  • Hard - It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time - 1 hour 51 minutes
